Car Crash Victim Remembered Through Breast Cancer Research ...

Hudson - The grey skies turned pink for a moment in Hudson Tuesday evening.

Kristie Collins friends and family got together to release balloons in her honor.

Collins was just 22 when she was killed in a car crash last year.

She spent a lot of time fundraising for breast cancer.

It was her ability to give back that inspired those who knew her best to start raising money for cancer research.

Pink balloons were sold for two dollars a piece, with all the money going to the Kristie Dawn Collins Breast Cancer Research Endowment Fund.

Over $2,000 dollars was raised at Tuesday's event.
